Helpful Advice

Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your lives. For your help and guidance below are just a few questions to ask before you book your DJ.

1) Is the DJ an experienced wedding DJ?
A flashy website does not amount to a great wedding DJ this is a specialized skill .Please check their Feedback/Testimonials and they are genuine and up to date. Please check our Testimonial page and we always send out feedback forms after every event which are held on record.

2) Do they have Public Liability & PAT Electrical Insurance?
This is now standard for any working professional and we have all the certificates. Hotels & Venues will demand to see copies beforehand .

3) Schedule a No-Obligation meeting
First impressions are everything. Is the DJ willing to meet you and discuss your special day. Were they on time-What was their appearance like-Did you feel comfortable with them.

4) Wow! Was the cost to good to be true
78% of Brides said they should have given their wedding entertainment more priority. A recent survey report stated that when asked 81% guests said the thing that they remembered about the wedding was the entertainment.

5) The hotel/venue has its own resident DJ and is cheaper.
There are some good hotel DJs out there but they work on a reduced fee compared to the standard price for a wedding professional .The question is will they have the time and commitment to meet you beforehand and work with you to create the weddings entertainment you want.

6) Will they supply a signed contract and take a deposit?
Always get a signed contract even if it’s a friend of a friend etc who DJs. No stress with that call a week before say they can’t attend. If there is no deposit or booking confirmation you have no binding agreement that your DJ will turn up.
